Elections for the Lord Mayor, Deputy Lord Mayor and Councillors for Melbourne City Council will be held by postal ballot in late November.

In the lead-up to the election, the City of Melbourne will halt its public consultations - including the eVillage - as part of its caretaker provisions to ensure no administrative resources can be used for election campaigning.

As a result, eVillage is going off-line until after the election.
